Insurance by goal
Start with your goal to explore sourced facts, guides and published product types. A goal alone does not confirm eligibility.
General information only. The operator is a referrer, not a licensed insurance intermediary. We do not provide insurance advice or recommendations. A licensed broker is responsible for all advice and arrangements.
- Education funding
Education funding involves both the date money is needed and its spending currency. Policy cash available for tuition can differ from illustrated death benefits. Start with surrender values and guaranteed benefits; a licensed broker can explain the contract.
- Retirement income
Retirement income depends on when payments start, how long they last and which amounts are guaranteed. A deferred annuity has a saving phase before income begins. Hong Kong tax relief and overseas tax treatment require separate checks.
- Medical cover
Medical insurance generally reimburses eligible expenses within contractual limits. VHIS certification, residence eligibility and overseas treatment cover are separate questions. Compare deductibles, exclusions and treatment territories before asking about a quotation.
- Critical illness cover
Critical illness cover pays on a qualifying illness under the policy, rather than simply reimbursing a hospital bill. The condition definition, severity and claim requirements matter more than a disease count. Read the applicable wording and version.
- Legacy and beneficiaries
Legacy planning separates policy ownership, the insured person and the beneficiary. A death benefit differs from cash available during life, and borrowing can affect the amount left to family. Cross-border tax and estate questions need qualified advice.
- Currency diversification
Holding a policy in another currency changes exposure; it does not remove exchange risk. Premiums, benefits and future spending may use different currencies. Currency options shown here are published contract facts, not an asset-allocation recommendation.
