This notice covers enquiry collection and broker referrals by Hong Kong Insurance Connect.
Planned data and purpose
We collect name, email, optional phone, residence, language, topic, message, source, page and consent to answer enquiries.
Providing details is voluntary. Name, email and enquiry-transfer consent are needed for this introduction service.
Do not send identity documents, policy numbers, medical records or other sensitive information through this site.
Separate consent for transfer
With your required consent, we pass your contact details and enquiry to a licensed Hong Kong insurance broker for a response.
Enquiry transfer needs your required consent. Insurance direct marketing has a separate, optional, unticked written-consent box.
Optional marketing consent permits sharing name, email, phone and topic with a licensed Hong Kong broker for gain (a referral fee).
Retention, access & correction
Keep details only as long as needed to respond and arrange an introduction, then delete. The exact retention schedule is pending.
Operator identity, retention schedule and processor review (Cloudflare, Resend and email storage) are still being finalised.
